Vineet Agarwal is
the Managing Director of Transport Corporation of India Ltd. (www.tcil.com).
He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, USA, and completed the
Owner President Management Program from Harvard Business School.
Vineet is the President at Assocham, one of India’s leading chambers of commerce. He serves as the founding National President
of the Young Leaders Council (YLC.aima.in) at the All India Management
Association and has been a Council member for several years. He is a member of various committees including
the National Council for Logistics at Assocham, the Governing Board of the
Management & Entrepreneurship and Professionals Skills Council (MEPSC),
Governing Council of the Logistics Skills council amongst others. He served as a director on Young President
Organization’s (YPO) international board and was previously a member of the
Global Agenda councils at the World Economic Forum, board member of the HBS
Club of India and at many other institutions.
Vineet has been involved
in various non-government organizations in the areas of safety and AIDS
awareness programs for truckers as well as running skill development centers.
In 2014, Vineet was awarded the Young CEO of the
year by the CEO magazine and in 2017 he was among the 200 young entrepreneurs
nominated by the Government of India under the ‘Champions of Change’ initiative.
