Central PMO Lead (Assistant General Manager)


Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in architecture / engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Postgraduate in Project Management / Construction Management

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in construction and project management
  • Minimum 5 years in leadership roles overseeing central PMO functions
  • Proven experience managing large-scale mixed-use developments, commercial real estate, and industrial
    warehousing
  • Strong understanding of governance, planning, control, monitoring and risk management

Additional 'Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as PMP, or equivalent will be preferrable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and enforce standardized PMO processes tools and reporting formats across all projects
  • Monitor key constraints including leased buildings statutory approvals and permits
  • Guide site and central PMOs in planning controls reporting and stakeholder coordination
  • Monitor project milestones deliverables and resource utilization
  • Review and endorse project budgets and forecasts from site PMOs and central cost management teams
  • Monitor cost performance across projects and ensure alignment with business case
  • Provide guidance on exceptions related to certified vendor invoices billing milestones and payment summaries
  • Validate contractor claims and resolve commercial issues
  • Coordinate with finance legal and procurement teams for integrated cost and contract management
  • Quality Control on dashboards for executive visibility
  • Conduct regular project reviews and status meetings with site and central teams
  • Identify and assess projectspecific and crosssite risks and issues
  • Oversee change control processes and ensure consistent impact assessments across projects
  • Track lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across projects
  • Prepare and present project performance updates to MDs Office CEO and Chairma
  • Participate in CXOlevel discussions on strategy risks and investment decisions related to projects
  • Translate operational insights into strategic recommendations for upcoming projects
  • Represent PMO leadership in boardlevel reviews and strategic planning sessions
  • Mentor and develop PMO team capabilities across locations
