TS Bhattacharya was the former Managing Director of State Bank of India. He has more than 40 years of experience of Indian banking, including years of experience at the head of India’s premier bank.
He was instrumental in launching the first ever PSB Branded Auto Finance - ‘Maruti Finance’, which completely changed the Auto Finance landscape in India.
He has been involved in almost every large transaction, be it debt syndication or restructuring, including the financing of the large refinery projects. He brings with him the innate understanding of the Indian banking system, and relationships with the highest levels of almost all banks present in India.
He held positions of great significance and responsibility at different times of his career including as Managing Director of State Bank of India, Director of IL&FS, etc.
