CEO – Fund Management
Yash has 15+ years of overall experience, with 13 years in real estate investing & asset management, during which he worked on transactions of over USD 600MM.
Prior to joining Welspun One, Yash was Principal at Proprium Capital Partners, an independent fund manager who manages an AUM of c.USD 2BN (set up in 2013, as a result of restructuring in “MSREI” - Morgan Stanley’s RE Investment platform), where he was actively involved in setting up of the India office, in addition to being responsible for the asset management of the MSREI SSF III India portfolio and the sourcing & execution of new deals.
Yash worked in Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI) from 2007, where he was in investing and asset management roles, including leading the asset management efforts for MSREI’s India portfolio.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from the Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai, and a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University.
